The December One Card Draw is now OPENCLOSED! This is a special birthday draw; I'm hoping to make enough to fund a consolidated website; I have an offer from a friend and I need about $175155 (my memory was a bit off and my friend gave me a discount by way of donation). If I make it, I'll give away a complex nest read! I will read till this evening

I drew Peafowl. This is the bird of technology, grounded in practical, early applications; communication technology, light technology, sound waves, color, including radio and television as well as alarms/alerts, even gasoline.
This bird is also symbolic of the spiritually evolved being who chooses to remain in mortality, chooses to be a part of life and help others, combining intuition, compassion, and spiritual clarity.
Peahens are very good mothers, in a humble and simple way.
These birds are actually quite dignified and quiet, and may advise similar behavior, as well as watchfulness and observation.
They also teach about beauty. Peacocks are among the most beautiful of birds, but have rather ugly feet and voices. They teach us that we should be neither too proud of our beauty nor ashamed of our less-than-beautiful parts, that people will see what they choose to see and that there is something ugly in even the most beautiful, thus we should all be humble.
Finally, this bird is also associated with poison antidotes and resistance.
Whew, a lot there, huh? I think you should make use to technology to help you feel connected to each other, but, most importantly, you both need to remember that staying in a relationship is an active choice; you choose to be with each other every day. You both have your flaws, but if you keep the focus on each other, you will find your way together.
I hope that helps!

Funny thing is, we use technology a lot (it's my favorite method of communicating ANYway---cause ya know, introvert here)--texting, sending emails, referring to songs on the radio, even leaving cards in each others cars (which is a form of technology--pen and paper!).
We both know it's an active choice, it's just when we get pulled in so many directions that the first thing sacrificed is OUR time, and while necessary sometimes, it's not the best for either of us.
I gave a small donation. Wife has too much on her mind to really worry today about it, so gave what I knew would be "safe" and will get back to you later probably. :)
Thanks!!!

I think this card is reminding you that there's such a thing as too much sacrificing of your time together. I hope you can remedy that soon!
