I've spent a good part of the day listening to "real Irish music". And very nice it's been. Here is my idea about how the day might have played out for our boys.

Thanks, Kin. I have to admit that it's been a fairly quiet St. Pat's Day but a very nice one. Hope yours is wonderful.

Ah, didn't get on yesterday, so I just saw this. It was my son-in-laws birthday, and YES, he's IRISH. Party abound, but alas, no green beer. But us ole Irish folks do know the Chieftains, yeah? That's Irish at it's finest.

Yes. I've been lucky enough to see them live a couple of times and they were just so accomplished. I have a DVD of them Live at Montreux that I get out whenever I need a fix. So it got a play or two on the weekend.
