My cold, which had been getting better and was almost gone... got a bit worse yesterday. I think it was having to go out and mull about in the snow and get my hands so cold they were aching (not the arthritis ache... the eminent frostbite ache)... and the fact that I very foolishly forgot to take my vitamin C yesterday. So I'm much better this ( Read more... )

I think you should do Cherry Hill, but that's mostly just so you can send it to me when you're finished. :)

LOL! It's an easy one... Cherry Hill Sampler by Moda. I bet you could make one if you really like it. The pattern's on line and I'm pretty sure you could find the fabrics without much trouble yet.

Coffee in Bed I think I voted for this one because I like the quilt, love coffe and I've always wanted to make a coffee quilt.

So do it! I know you'd make something fabulous and whimsical and beautiful... and I'd love to see it!

:D It's in second place. I think I might do it right after the next one just so I'm not doing two Halloween quilts back to back.

That's what my family thinks too. I think they just want to see it finished!

the star....

and when you finish that can you give me the motivation to finish the jigsaw currently on my sewing table and finish my niece's quilt. I finished the top around Christmas time, and since then it's been lying over the couch to keep it flat.

I'm not sure what a "jigsaw" is... I know the word as refering to a power tool and a type of puzzle neither of which makes sense here.

What I am doing, since the first of the year, is carving out 3 hours a week (at least) to quilt. Not to piece, not to plan... to quilt (Obviously, I'm behind... 5 finished tops plus the one I'm working on? Tsk, tsk.) It's working pretty well... I'd like for it to go faster, of course but at least I'm getting somewhere, even if it's slow. Maybe you could resolve to do something similar to get your niece's quilt done?

nope, it's the type of puzzle, my table is too small for it, but the cutting board is the same size as the jigsaw :o) Therefore my sewing space is out of action till I finish this darn thing!
