I need to eventually try some of those shampoo bars and such. They would be sure handy on a camping trip ;)
I love your charms :) I have a couple fox ones I bought, for no real reason ;) I don't wear charm bracelets LOL. They are sitting in my box with the vintage "Fox & grapes" (like aesopes fables) buttons I also bought for no reason (besides cool factor). LOL
Anyway, speaking of quilts...I have an old scrub top I didn't know if you might want for fabric. it's all cotton, but a very thin lightwight cotton. It's a batik with purple/green/blue spots on it (looks more like it was made by someone dripping the colors onto the fabric almost. Anyway, It would be a neat quilt fabric, but because it's so thin, not the thicker cottons that are used more often, I didn't know if you might want to use it :) (it's ended it's useful life as a scrub top)
I could always double the scrub top and more blues are always welcome in my stash! If you sould send it next time we swap or something... I'd hate for you to send just that... unless you let me send you something for postage!
You could always wear the charms one or two at a time as necklaces... and wouldn't a fox & grapes charm be a fabulous one? (Now I have to go look for one!) I don't wear my charm bracelet very often... and I have to rethink it and either get a longer one or maybe even start a charm necklace because I have too many for the bracelet I have now!
Just send me your address again :) You'd think I would have started an address book (finally) instead of keeping addresses on scraps of paper and envelops...which of course lead to them getting horribly lost around here LOL ;)
More blues...good thing :D There are a couple more tops that are all batik but all the same thin cotton (I got the coolest stuff I could find when I lived in Texas :laughs:) Of course they are all starting to wear out now. Most of them are all blue or have blue in them.
Except one, which I call my "cammo" shirt. Because it's mostly green, with touches of navy and a touch of red...it makes it look like cammo with all the light and dark spots ;)
Don't worry about postage or anything LOL. I'll just be happy they are going to a place to be loved and used :)
As for the charms - my great grandmother had 2 charm bracelets since there were too many for 1 she just split them out and made 2. That way she could pick and choose which ones to put on each bracelet also (and gave her more room to buy more!!!) ;)
