I remember Storybook International! I loved the fox at the beginning.

Yey! Although trying to explain it to people who'd never seen it was always awkward. "There's this medieval guy, and a tree, and a fox, and he's singing stuff about names, it's all animated - but then it's not, it's kinda narrated over this mime - er, kinda... ever seen it?"

Heheh - accurate! I was searching for it for years, I thought it was called 'The Storyteller' because that's what he sings. I also remembered it as the guy turns into the fox. Nope. :)
