Penny Dreadful.

As promised, a piece of trashy faux-victorian melodrama, as written by my neurons.

I take no responsibility for the surreality contained here-in... )

I have so much joy for this. Not just because it slightly underlines that I may not be the person who has listened to Bleak Expectations the most as I previously expected but because it also contained highway men and jam (not jam) and evil celery and crossword clues. So incredibly shiny and meekle.

Am going to read it again now.

Heeehee, I think you still win in the listening-to-Bleak-Expectations stakes, but I am catching up (and would not dare deny its blatant influence!)

I'm very glad you liked it and it makes my neurons clap and jump about in a 'eee we did a small shiny thing!' sort of way =)

As I go to sleep listening to it most nights then yes, I might just have the lead.

I printed out so I could read it curled up with fan and meds.

GURRRL. I am dying at this. I think it's killed me from snigger. And glee. You've no idea how much I'd like to see storyboards for this! And such a sweet ending. I think we may be brain twins as the last ficlet I wrote ended samesame. What a sentimental lot we are!
