"The city goes to bed
And I can live inside my head..."For the past two days in between tidying and chores I've been doing a peculiar project - a gift overdue - and it's really the only thing keeping me sane. Hm. Part of what makes you wonderful is that you rail against things which in your heart of hearts you know you cannot change or make better. It shows you care and that's a good thing in and of itself. To be fair, your mother probably hasn't noticed the entire year being crap, she lives (or so I would think) in the present. A hug, or a kiss might well affect her just as much as a present.

Your father however has full command of his faculties, and that makes his ordeal worse, or so I would imagine.

I'd say draw your mum a pretty picture if it makes you feel better, but don't fuss too much. xx

Dixie Chicks. Listen immediately.

They're the closest the Americans will ever get to understanding a broken heart. Whilst being ridiculously cheerful.

Bounce around to dead soldiers and burned dreams for a bit. Always makes me feel happier.

What songs do you recommend - I believe they have quite an extensive play list...

How was your winterfest dear heart?

Travelling Soldier
You can't afford no ring
Landslide (It's a Fleetwood Mac cover, and while it doesn't branch out, you've got to love Mac with banjos.)

Winterfest? Eh.

Thoughts be with you. Body be's in Chichester.
