Apologies, explanations, and what Corvid got up to last night.

"On a stormy sea of moving emotion
Tossed about I'm like a ship on the ocean
I set a course for winds of fortune
But I hear the voices say..."

Right. ( Yesterday eve, after having a lovely time at Neil's houseleaving party, I was walking home... )

misery loves company, litchking, head case

I would love to find those two boys and give them a hug for saving our Raven. Glad the world intervened, it has a funny way of doing that.

Seconded
Oh my darling girl *hugs*
I have neuron-pleasing weird cakey things for us tonight =)
Hurrah, for once the universe is clearly made up of win and you are still here!
Bless the Vin and Buck boys =)

if the universe works like that (and I hope it does) those two boys have a load of good karma heading their way =)

Yeah, they really do. I also used the story as an example when people were bitching about people being horrible/getting mugged in London. There are good people out there. x

I am better today - I'm working on the well bit =)
If I knew what had kicked all of that off I'd write you a very long rambly email trying to explain me, or just rant about the world - because sometimes both these things help. But there was no rhyme nor reason, hence I might be a good and sensible girl and go talk to a doctor =)
*laughs* apparently the universe doesn't have the budget or the inclination to send me guardian gunslingers when I need them, but it tries its best with what's to hand =)

I don't mind the world thinking I'm 22, it's more fun than everyone thinking I'm 32, although that would be almost accurate =)

Yeah, my brain chemistry has apparently turned to blah again, it does this every few years and I ignore it for a bit until it starts to get awful then I go get meds from doctors until either I'm better or the med side effects are so irritating I have to stop. I shall start investigating where I need to go, what I need to sign and who I need to talk to like a sensible girl =)

Y'see, that's what I mean! Random cool stuff like that never happens to me in Lewisham!

Thanks for coming yesterday, it was lovely to see you as I may or may not have said (the last hour or so of the party is a little hazy . . .) & I hope it wasn't anything there that caused your neurons to revolt!

heh - even the two boiz said this sort of thing never happened to them and were also amazed that I'd not been mugged in Lewisham on a monthly basis =)

It was lovely to see you, and I lots of bizarre and shiny conversations with all manner of people - your party was a good and shiny thing.

I have no idea why my neurons revolted, I blame them being idiotic myself =P

I rather adore the sawwff lundun boiz. You are allowed to be unbright, although I was tempted not to go to school today but to come and find you, which coiuld have been interesting since I have no idea who you are!

they were very random and meekle boiz and I still can't quite believe all that happened 'cos it's ridiculous.

Oh you darling - hee, although it would have been weird if you had turned up. Mostly because I would have a) felt guilty for not being dead (because, y'know, if you're gonna make people miss work and things then it should be worth their while. or something.) and b) would have worried that the only hospitality I could offer was tea and tomatoes, allbran or pears. Which is a bit shoddy as hospitality goes.

Heh. So you would have had a tired and shambolic corvid mumbling things about 'have a chair sorry about the tomatoes and not being dead if you see a neuron on the floor it's probably mine, erm...' =)

To be honest, you would only have had tea to offer me as I can't eat any of the other things. :) I am not really consciously good at hospitality, so I don't judge others. As long as people are pulling weaponary on me, then I see that as a plus!

And I would much prefer to miss work because people weren't dead if I am to be honest.
