You and your neurons should actually listen to what I say everyone once in a while.

i forgot about the pinecone.
is it any good at navigating?
or is its use perhaps directed more towards stunning wouldbe burglars? or attracting wildlife? or warding of drunks who wish to defile the car in some way...?

Since the inclusion of the pinecone(henceforth referred to as percy, short for percival but were now beyond the no abbreviations stage)the car has singularily failed to be stolen, implode, explode or become inundated by meercats. As such it can remain quite happily as my current driving companion of choice, as i have not gotten at all lost since. Thus i also assume it is both a skilled and subtle navigator.

Admittedly i did have a moment of worry when driving past where it was given to us on the return from Andys in the possibility that it was missing its friends.
Other than that Percy and i are doing well. hes not quite ready to move into the house but other than that we progress well. when he is able to hunt on his own i may return him to the wild before he becomes permanantly spoiled.

Oh and he feels nice.

nah, if percy hadn't wanted to do the job I'd given him then you would have got very lost very quickly. (it's a bit like garu - i always wonder if really shit theaurges manage to bind spirits into fettishes that really don't wanna be there and so do all they can to disrupt things...)
i wouldn't advise bringing percy into the house, i think he might get bored. he is after all a seed-pod and therefore designed for travel. At somepoint dobtless he will eventually see a place he likes and ask to be left there - maybe he'll like cornwall...
