The Guerrero cosplayer moment is DEFINITELY my favorite. Weird panel otherwise. I think they all secretly feel a bit awkward about the new direction of the show. Between you and me (and everyone at WPTJEH!), I rather hope they take advantage of the estrogen infusion to prove that Guerrero is into girls... :)

You know, the more I hear Mark Miller talk, the less I like him. His ideas for the new season are interesting and could make the series even better, but Miller himself doesn't really seem as passionate about the show as Steinberg did. I've never watched Chuck so I can't vouch for the quality of his work on that show, but I'm curious why Fox tapped him to take over the helm. Chuck's been in danger of cancellation every season it's been on the air, so unless Fox is thinking "He can't do much worse here," I'm not sure why he was such an appealing candidate.

All in all, I'm hesitantly optimistic about the new season. With a new creative head and Bear McCreary gone, season two will be starting off with two potentially huge strikes against it-- for me.

I'm not excited ether " A female Charlie" What the fuck? a poor explaining because not everyone watched charlie angels or even a fan of that show

or they have no idea what they are talking about

Agreed. I'm still on the fence on this new boss, as I'm on the fence of Mark Miller. I do prefer the excitability of Jonathan Steinberg far more. I don't know why Miller got tapped for this. I don't like the idea of less Winston because he's the backbone of the group.

Can't wait for the return of Baptiste though!

I'd feel better about the new boss character if Miller had offered a good reason why she's needed in the first place. The team did well on its own in regards to obtaining money/transportation/stuff in general. My best guess is that the resolution to the season one cliffhanger will find the trio laying low and on the hunt for a new HQ since the warehouse has been exposed. Through some machination of fate they meet Isla, help her escape whoever's after her, and once she hears of their predicament she decides she likes their services so much that she offers them everything they need...provided they do what she says.

It's that last part that bothers me, really. They have to do a damn good job of showing why Chance and Winston decide they need her so much that they'll take orders from her. Better yet, I'm curious about the kind of clientele a billionaire would be recruiting.

Love Laura from "Rewind"...I wish she wasn't dead either. We never see her die; she can come back! (runs around)

Why the new direction? I'm guessing the answer is along the lines of, "No one watched this in season 1 and Fox wants to see some improvement if they're giving it another chance."

They're clearly trying to add broader appeal, and at the same time try to improve where they can. I like the talk of B plots fleshing out the characters. I'll reserve judgment on the boss. The only thing bugging me is the as-of-yet-uncast hot 22-year-old thief chick. That...doesn't seem in the spirit of the show we know. But we'll see.

Never watched Chuck, but I have a buddy who adores it. Cautiously optimistic.

It feels like they're trying to turn it into an ensemble show like, well, Chuck, or another favorite show of mine, Leverage. Leverage is a great example of a caper-of-the-day show with a large cast done well, and if the new creative team can continue to capture that fun, adventure spirit with the new characters, then I'm okay with them. The thief chick sounds pretty interesting. Potential love interest for Guerrero, maybe? Unless she's really zany, rarely is there a female cast member who doesn't get paired off with someone else.

Man, I hope not. I have an older man/young girl squick button. I'd be ok if they took boss lady in that direction.

Yes, we're in ensemble territory now. At this point I'm just waiting to see if it still feels like Human Target.
