Why the new direction? I'm guessing the answer is along the lines of, "No one watched this in season 1 and Fox wants to see some improvement if they're giving it another chance."
They're clearly trying to add broader appeal, and at the same time try to improve where they can. I like the talk of B plots fleshing out the characters. I'll reserve judgment on the boss. The only thing bugging me is the as-of-yet-uncast hot 22-year-old thief chick. That...doesn't seem in the spirit of the show we know. But we'll see.
Never watched Chuck, but I have a buddy who adores it. Cautiously optimistic.
It feels like they're trying to turn it into an ensemble show like, well, Chuck, or another favorite show of mine, Leverage. Leverage is a great example of a caper-of-the-day show with a large cast done well, and if the new creative team can continue to capture that fun, adventure spirit with the new characters, then I'm okay with them. The thief chick sounds pretty interesting. Potential love interest for Guerrero, maybe? Unless she's really zany, rarely is there a female cast member who doesn't get paired off with someone else.
Man i hope we don't get a yucky December relationship with one of the guys tired of seeing older men and teenage girls together...
No body should tell me to get with the times. Realtionships with age difference has been going on for eons i just don't feel like watching another fling and fail...
with age difference I did write a story of Guerrero who hanged out with a young girl who worked for an ex body snatcher turn store owner.
The girl herself had no idea of her boss's dealing or of Guerrero's and never ask's of his profession as they hang out together but Gerrero's knows her though and though
It's a friendship with hidden attractions and as much Guerrero is given the chance to make a move by the many times he has slept in the same bed with her.
He resist's and put himself down because she makes him feel like a monster given the moment to expose her.
I was inspire to write it after reading "cups of blood and cookies"
about a man with a violent past who meets a women he shares an asexual relationship with and ends once she shows a slight of sexual intention
A potential love interest for Guerrero? That crossed my mine when I heard about this thief lady. My first thought was "Catwoman" wannabe. I really hope they don't set her up with Guerrero. I've come to the conclusion that Guerrero is married or in some steady relationship for years now. Gotta take care of "the little one." Don't break up the Daddy Guerrero from his mini me!
I'm actually quite interested to see how (and if) they handle the daddy!Guerrero situation. In my personal head canon he supports the kid and his/her mother but doesn't actually have contact with them simply because of how dangerous his job is and the high potential for someone to do them harm if their existence came to light. Besides that, some of the comments he makes throughout the show, particularly in Victoria, suggest to me that he's currently single.
On the flip side he could be keeping his family close just to make it easier to protect them. Hopefully we'll get answers in season two.
Everything Guerrero's touches turns too poop, he's a walking home wrecking, impulsive hit and run. He was the guy choosen to knock off...the...lady who chance feels guility about because she blew up and Chance as well.
I think Guerrero wouldn't let profession and the human part cross, sure Winston is at stake here. Chance is flying to some....place and Guerrero is contacting oracle. *ahaha! to the Guerrero mobile!* I think Guerrero got burned by the flame too many times to know that what makes it work, is no work

Yes, we're in ensemble territory now. At this point I'm just waiting to see if it still feels like Human Target.
