Awww... Poor Guy

Joe has been feeling terrible for the past few days. He came off his antidepressant and is going through withdrawl symptoms. Dizzyness, nausia, smells bother him, he constanyly feels exahusted, etc, etc, etc

LOL -- been **there** a few times -- morning sickness lasted all day for me.

Yep. Mine didn't start until about week 8-10 but with each pregnancy it lasted longer and longer. With Maddie I actually had to take prescription anti-nausia medication (sorta helped) and it didn't let up even a little bit until week 17. Ugh. I lost about 15 pounds because I just felt so sick all the time.

I pointed that out to Joe, nicely, that I knew how he felt and that if I could deal with it for 10 weeks he can last for 2. :)

Did he wean himself off of them?

He stepped down twice and then stopped. He said there's a few more steps he could go down but he's really wanting to be done with it all.

He said he'll wait 2-3 weeks and see how he feels. If it isn't any better then he'll go back in to the doctor. We're both hoping that it clears up though.

Just being off of them for a week he has lost 5 pounds. And that started coming off even before he started feeling sick.

He did make an appointment with his doctor for tomorrow morning, so hopefully they can resolve things then.

Depending on what he's been taking, he needs to be very careful with coming off of the meds cold turkey. A number of the things can trigger seizures if he goes off completely rather than weaning off of them slowly.

He did step down a little bit clearly not enough though. He's going to see his doctor later this morning.
