Joe has been feeling terrible for the past few days. He came off his antidepressant and is going through withdrawl symptoms. Dizzyness, nausia, smells bother him, he constanyly feels exahusted, etc, etc, etc.
He's been scouring the internet for solutions for these symptoms. He doesn't want to go back on the drugs, mostly because he gains weight like crazy, but he also doesn't want to spend the next two months feeling terrible. A lot of the sources he's come across have said the first 10 days are the worst and then it eases up a bit and within a month is pretty much resolved. Today is day 7 for him.
He called me this morning after he got to work asking me where he could find crystalized ginger. I told him that it should be in with the dried fruit and nuts at the grocery store. I also said that he can get some ginger ale, sometimes that helps.
Right after I said that it hit me. I know exactly how he feels. I have had the exact same symptoms and uncomfortable constant nausia that just won't go away no matter what you do. I've gone through it several times and it lasted for months each time. It is absolutly miserable.
The poor guy has morning sickness.
