My husband is a nurse and so far we've been lucky that he's gotten Christmas off every year. He goes in on Christmas Eve and most of the time the people with no, teenaged, or grown children will take Christmas day.
He's had to work on Thanksgiving and New-Years several times but we're not very attached to those days and besides he gets crazy holiday pay, double time and a half. Our poor butts can appreciate nearly a weeks pay for one day.
...This has nothing to do with your post, but I just realized that I sent you the camera without sending the USB cord it came with to hook up to the computer.
Um... Sorry? I hope you have a little SD disk drive on your computer.
Sorry! I'll look around and see if I brought the cord with me, and if so, I'll send it out to you as soon as I get some stamps.
Glad the camera got to you in one piece, though! It works and stuff? I checked it before i shipped it out, but you never know what might happen to it in the postal system.
every thing was just fine, I was going to upload some pictures to show you all but like I said, even though the USB cord fits the camera it's like it's not recognizing it or something. The computer isn't even registering that there's a USB device plugged in. *shrug*

Hospital workers don't get most holidays off, so we often shake our heads in surprise when someone we know DOES.

I'll check Joe's laptop to see if it has a sd slot, it's newer so it may.
