It's sort of difficult to explain what my company does.  We are a third party logistics company specializing in paper products, which means nothing to most people.

In as small of a nutshell as I can put it...
Most of our customers are printing plants.  They print newspaper inserts (Wal-Mart, grocery store, and furniture adds that are in the middle of your newspaper) and/or junk mail.  Our job is to get the product from the printer to the newspaper or post office where it will in turn be sent out to you.  Some things we can send with FedEx Freight or similar carriers, other times we hire out a full tractor trailer to carry the goodies.

My job here is data entry.  I specalize in the "large" accounts that take multiple truck loads to deliver where they're going, mainly going to newspapers.  Most newspapers want their inserts at least 10 days before the newspaper is going out to the customers, as such I work about 3 or 4 weeks ahead of when things will be getting to where they're going.

We've recently picked up some new work from an existing customer, this is the second week that we're processing the full run of it and we're trying to get the kinks worked out so everything flows as smoothly as possible.  The manager over this particular account came over here to talk to me about it and she mentioned that starting next week she's going to start calling all the newspapers and other destinations that this account delivers to and ask them when they need their stuff delivered around the Labor Day weekend.  She then started ticking off the rest of the upcoming holidays, "And after Labor Day," she started, "There's Thanksgiving. And you know that people want off Thursday, and Friday, and Saturday, AND Sunday!"  I started laughing, "Oh yea, how dare they want to take their holidays! The bastards!"

I'm not sure if it's funny or what that in this particular business holidays are almost more trouble than they are restful.
