Started playing again after 3 years.

Yes, it does. Be sure to look at the What Has Changed? tab in your spellbook for some basic info on the class! You have holy power now which powers different abilities for you.

Also, pallies, and most tanks now, are more active mitigation. You'll be using Sacred Shield a lot, which is your new important spell. :)

I am pretty rotten at Pally tanking now as well.
However, I can dual box toons with you if you are interested in rolling a new one.
Majority rules in dungeons.
I drag my friends who roll alts through them.

Are you Horde or Ally?
I have some 90's I can bring. Sometimes all it takes is doing it and practicing. :)

If you like tanking, try Brewmaster Monk.
I suck at every other tanking class but that one.

In addition to what the rest have said, I'm sure if you stick up your server, continent/time zone and faction there'll be someone here who will be happy to potter around with you to practice as well. With cross server stuff, it doesn't matter if they're not exactly matching with you (e.g. if you're anywhere in the EU, I can help out)

This is true. I'd help as well if I can. US servers here. Sometimes knowing that there's someone in the dungeon that's not going to be a jerk can be helpful.

i suggest starting a new pally and leveling through it so you get all of the abilities one at a time. it's a long haul but i think it would help a lot.
