Pandaria rares and Shadow Priests

Good Morning!! Apologies if this is formatted weirdly, LJ is being obnoxious this morning.

I am posting this on behalf of my girlfriend, who plays shadow/holy, and is running into some frustration that she cannot solo some of the Pandaria rares on her priest; pandaren and jinyu specifically give her a lot of trouble because of the long cooldowns

Her best bet for interrupts, besides silence, is Psychic Scream. Only use that for Jinyu on Torrent, otherwise shield and heal to stay alive if both are on cooldown. I'd make sure she's glyphed for them to stay in place as well; don't want them to run off and get adds!

I would think the same would be for Pandaren rares, but I'm not sure if a fear would just make them start casting their heal again once the fear is done, since it's not *really* an interrupt.

Become a tauren for war stomp? ;)

I believe the Belf one works as a well for an interrupt for one of them.

my guildmate shadow priest said that Psychic Scream can't interrupt pandaren\s heals :/

I've killed them on my priest so it's not impossible, but it is tricky. For the Jinyu, make sure she saves her silence for torrent. If for some reason it's not up she can disperse through part of it, as well as send out her shadow fiend and fade. I can't remember off the top of my head if Psychic Scream or Psychic Horror work on those rares ... a lot tend to be immune. Void tendrils are also nice because most mobs will top hitting you and attack the tendrils instead.

The pandaren ones that cast healing mist can be a pain. If you can time mass dispell just right you can get rid of the HOT portion of that heal. For the most part I will just dps'd through it. I might silence the first heal and the dps through the next ones until they are about 1/4 health so that I would be able to kill them before they cast the next heal. These guys do that chi burst as well that can hit pretty hard, but she can either disperse or fade to her fiend to avoid the damage.
