The only suggestion I have is Leandro's Latency fix, which won't improve your FPS, but will help alleviate other sources of lag.

I have a 2010 Lenovo T500. It's a beast, but it serves me well to satisfy my wow-fix on the road. I think you'll be pleased with your purchase. :3

*Leatrix's Latency Fix, actually. xD I love it, could definitely tell a difference when I installed it on my new comp.

I can try that, it might help :) And yes, I won't buy the computer, I'll get to borrow it until I finish High School :) But from what I've heard it is indeed better than the current one I have :P

Have you tried Quartz? It's a casting bar doo-dad, might help you with timing your "pre-casts." It will compensate for latency, I forget if it compensates for fps too but it's worth a try.

I played on a toaster in BC! 5-6fps in raids, oohhhh yeaaahhh. XD

Nope, never tried Quartz. Might give it a shot :) And yes, everyone loves toasters don't they? xD

Sounds like my old laptop. Unfortunately there's really only so far you can push that graphics card and cpu.... especially if you don't want the attack of the blue shadows, which is what happens when I play LFR on the laptop. Really all you can do is keep everything on low until you get the new computer.

Well, blue shadows sounds bad. Sounds like something that would be equal to the BSOD. Windows Blue Screen of Death.

But yeah, I keep doing my best.

Well, I updated all my addons, those I couldn't update I don't run; which is currently only Atlas_Loot, Altoholic and TomTom. I do not play with Quartz, never have, but since I've gotten suggestions about it I might try it out :)

Well yes, post-patch times are buggy, but this have been true since I started playing about a year ago... It's evol as fuuuu.

And well, I can turn down my view distance... But as I said, I enjoy seeing the mobs before they aggro me ;P

I'll do all I can until I get a better toaster.

Two of the big framerate killers are shadows and sunshafts. I know you said you had most of your settings as low as possible, but if you try disabling sunshafts and having shadows on low and hopefully you should notice a bit of a jump. (On my laptop if they are on, I get maybe 10fps, turn them off/down and I jump up to 50-60fps)

I also agree with kylenne above - if one of your addons is a bit buggy that will kill it too. Maybe see what your framerate is like without addons entierly and then start adding them in from there.

If you dont do a lot of raiding and such, disabling projected textures might help as well.

Good luck!

Hmm. Don't know what sunshafts are on, but I know the shadows are on lowest possible. I'll check the sunshafts too, hoping it'll work.

I tried without addons, no change. I got maybe 1 more in FPS, so really didn't care about that single point since I still had to do my usual playing style with mashing buttons before their cooldown is off or my cobrashot is off.

I have disabled everything that was possible to disable, without even reading the texts, so it probably is already. Thanks for the help tho. :)
