I'm a long time lurker. I love the insight and info on this community! I recently encountered the fantastic Travels through Azeroth blog and was inspired to try something similar of my own (although I am sure it will utterly fail in comparision). I found this to be a pretty good resource; it doesn't give years, because Blizzard is allergic to committing to a reasonable timeline, but does give a better sense of time passing than most of the other things I've read.

Also, the worgen curse -can- be laid directly at Greymane's feet. He instructed Aragul to raise the worgen in the fighting against the Scourge, and they got out of hand.

As for the Scarlets, I'd recommend a little reading... if I remember right, they are fanatics; the middle brother might be estranged, but what would entice him to join what is essentially a terrorist organization?

Regarding the Scarlets, I was thinking that being the brother was already a bit of a fanatic and joined after the Scourge Invasion. I was never going to actually bring him into the story directly. Just as family background. Maybe comment on it when the narrator runs Scarlet Monastery.

I definitely don't want the narrator to be a supporter of Greymane, but I also do not want him to be a Crowly supporter either. Still working that one out since it seems to be one or the other.

Fair enough, re: the brother! :) I just mention it, as I've seen some people see the Scarlets as just particularly annoying paladins, and they were... well. They drank from the firehose of crazy. Long as you're aware of that, you should be fine ( ... )
