When the group first zones in, feel free to toss out a friendly "Hello!" or something similar. This will often be enough to break the ice and get the party started on a friendly note.
Okay, two things:
Others may disagree with me on this, but I generally don't recommend that you advertise the fact that you're new. There are some people who are mentor-ly and will take you under their wing if they know you're new, but they're far outnumbered by the people who immediately see newbies as an encumbrance and will either talk trash or just try to boot you outright. Yes, you may make some mistakes, but let's be honest, people in dungeons screw up all the time -- whether they're new or not.
If the party has any other ranged DPS, just stand by them and do what they do.

I did not know you should do this, and I'm 85. XD
And my advice as a hunter is to not stand in fire and be extra careful of mobs you might accidently bump into during a boss fight. But you're at 15 so they're easy peasy anyway.
