Not sure what Panera Bread is, but have you bought anything (bulk items?) from the AH lately? Or used COD? Or sold any items of a similar type/value in large lots? I read about someone the other day who put a package deal together for alchemy herbs (the 0-525 type) and they were banned after it sold.

Doesnt have to be just yesterday, their system might have picked up something you did from a few days ago.

(Ps, that really sucks and I hope you get it sorted out!)

I've not fiddled with the AH in a couple of weeks.

But I did just get an e-mail saying my WoW e-mail account was compromised. Ffff!

What leads you to believe your account was closed? If you can still log in it sounds like it has not been closed. Were you sent an email from 'Blizzard' claiming your account had been closed? To be honest it sounds like a fishing email if you did. If you clicked on any links in that email I suggest scanning your computer very carefully.

I logged into Battlenet directly (I typed in the address, I didn't follow any links) and my account was closed.

Hmmmm. Maybe you could file a ticket then? I'm not sure the proper procedure. I'd think at least if you filed a ticket they could direct you to the correct person.

My WoW e-mail account was compromised. I'm filing tickets and going through that process. I feel kinda dumb. There was nothing to give away that the e-mail address had been hacked, all the PWs were the same.

There's a phishing scam - the emails are very convincing - where they tell you your account has been suspended/compromised. I've gotten this a couple of times now, but I was able to log in just fine, and nothing seemed amiss.

It wasn't a scam, unfortunately. I went to the site directly. It's been sorted now though.

Thank you. It's not trivial to me but it is another 'OMG. I was hacked!' post.

If you don't have an authenticator and you played using Panera's wireless, someone could have a packet sniffer on it to search for passwords/login info.
