1. Put your talent points into Threat of Thassarian, not Might of the Frozen Wastes if you're going to dual-wield. If you have to, drop Pillar of Frost. I can count on one hand the number of times I've ever used it ( ... )

This is my frosty dual wielding DK.

Seconding the Pillar of Frost and suggesting perhaps putting those talents into Bladed Armor and Virulence? Aaand the other lovely lady posting covered the rest!

You might also want to consider going to 2h frost until 80 and Cata content. 2h was buffed in the patch and is now theoretically within 1% of DW, and all the 1h weapons in Wrath feature agility or are tanking weapons, so you'd probably do a bit more damage with a 2-hander. Granted, it might not be worth it to repec twice in 7 levels...

I just spent the last couple of weeks frosting my way through Northrend, and I love it. Now, at 80, I'm going to try tanking, and I'm glad that I have that toughness buff you get from mining.

Rotation isn't really an accurate word for how frost works, though at lower level you are waiting on runes for it more than you will be once you pick up the higher level abilities. Runic Empowerment, which procs the instant return of a fully depleted rune when you use frost strike, for instance, adds a chaotic element to your style ( ... )
