So it has been quite some time since I've been around here. But I thought I would go to you lovely ladies for some help in my little situation
( Read more... )
1. Put your talent points into Threat of Thassarian, not Might of the Frozen Wastes if you're going to dual-wield. If you have to, drop Pillar of Frost. I can count on one hand the number of times I've ever used it.
2. For rotations, put up your diseases first (Howling Blast and Plague Strike). Then go Obliterate, Blood Strike (if you can), and then Frost Strike if you can. If Killing Machine is procced, do Obliterate, even it it means you use Blood Tap to get the runes. I routinely crit for approximately half of my health when I do that. If I get lucky and Killing Machine proccs in the first few spells, I can usually down a mob before I have to worry about runes being on cooldown. Obliterate is amazing when it's procced!
3. Get rid of any of your gear with parry stats. Parry is for tanking. What you want is Strength, then Hit. Stamina is going to be on a lot of the gear you're going to get while levelling, but don't make it a priority, as we simply don't benefit from it as much as Str, Hit, Mastery, Crit, etc.
4. For professions, judge it based on the benefit said profession will give you. Leatherworking is actually the best for us, followed by Jewelcrafting and Blacksmithing.
