Pretty much what the subject says. I just recently found out about a mob in Deepholm - Aeonaxx - that drops this beauty. I've been reading up on her on WoWHead and see that the spawn times aren't known exactly or if she's linked to Xariona/other rare spawns. OMG I saw it once, and had no idea you could get a mount from it. My friend and I were just like, "Oh hey, look at that mob, I've never seen that before!"

I swear I saw him when I first began exploring Deepholm, but I was more "omg, giant dragon run away" and he had been flying overhead in the innercircle around the Temple, and the fact it could have been him drives me crazy.

I've been camping him and i camp at the quartzite basin, above the gobbo shammy goldmine and by the second set of pillars at stone core (i like the spinny rock too) i also read almost all the wow head comments they were at 1.2k when i did.

2 days in a row i went to deepholm as Aeonaxx was spawned D:

I'm determined to get him on my pally. while camping turn view settings to High and be ready. npc scan puts the green battle thong (triangle) on the mob so you can find him faster.

I almost never have my game sounds turned on, but I happened to have turned it on for some reason, and it was right when the sunflower was mumbling about zombies on the lawn. NNNGHH, HOW SO CUTE?

NPC does not depend upon your view distance. It is the typical /tar distance, so like, 100 yards or something. Anyway - it goes off before you see it, if you have your settings on low (confirmed: mine are at min)

I obtained Aeonaxx, second on server to have him, after 125-ish hours of camping. I got hardcore the last four days, and camped nonstop. If I wasn't on my account, my boyfriend was, waiting and watching. I finally obtained him about 7:40 AM, right before a restart.

Do not trust the WoWHead page. It has a lot of misleading and downright incorrect info. I camped TLPD (over a month hardcore for that one), and I know a lot of the stuff they are telling is false... so be careful with what you believe.

Also to note, I got him before he was reported on MMO-Champ and WoWHead.
