Your rotation is almost okay, but with a few key problems. Soul Fire is very very important, for the hast proc. You should have a soulburn->soul fire at the top of your rotation, to keep the haste buff up. In PvE, except I'm sure in gimmicky fights I've not yet seen, there is no reason to soulburn any other spell ( ... )

Thank you! I will try all this out! I admit, I didn't really understand Soul Fire so I didn't try to use it.

(I pretty much only used Soulburn to insta-summon a dead pet, or, on very rare occasions, for the haste buff after warlock-porting.)

XD

Also! Shadowburn is super awesome. Use it on trash for regaining soul shards. It's especially awesome on long boss fights with summoned adds. It also does a ton of damage, so yeah. Very shiny.

I know very little about warlocks. Sorry. As for tanking gear-- I don't play a warrior, but I have a paladin and dk, so same gear-- it's very rare to find a piece of gear with both dodge and parry. The gear you want can have any combination of dodge, parry, mastery, hit and expertise; the last three are shared with dps, so a mastery/hit bracer can be for either tanking or damage now that all gear has the same amount of stamina. You can even get away with a piece of gear with one of those stats and a dps stat, like crit or haste, but I wouldn't roll over a plate dps for such a piece in BC content or later. You should never see contradicting secondary stats like dodge/haste. However, at low levels (vanilla) it's rare to find a meaningful amount of avoidance on armor; if the dps plate is a significant upgrade as far as armor and stamina goes, roll on it no matter what the secondary stats are. At level cap, you want to try to keep dodge and parry as even as possible. Oddly enough, dks and paladins both value mastery over avoidance to a ( ... )

Ack, can't edit... block is also good for you as a warrior. (Bad for dks and druids-- can't block with no shield!-- which is why I forgot....)

Well, block is a stat that only appears on shields anyway, so it's irrelevant :) (And some trinkets, I guess.) I suppose the message here is that my current gear is actually probably fine -- I should just make sure that my tank set has all the stats you mentioned and not crit/haste.

I shouldn't worry so much I guess. I've pretty much been fine in the regulars I've been doing. I don't think there has been a single wipe due to tank death, even if the healer OOMed. (Obviously that will probably change when I do start the eat-ur-face heroics...)

I'm a demo lock on Gorefiend, so I don't know if you want to change over to demonology but either way, I'll let you know the rotation I find most helpful. You can look me up on wowarmory or w/e for my spec/glyphs. Name Vikku.
I tend to use BoD>Corruption>immolate>incin> SB spam. Rinse repeat. If you have decimation proc, spam soul fire. If you have Molten Core proc, spam Incinerate.
I use fear for my CC so in those packs my dps goes down since I have to keep fear up but otherwise I pull at least 9k in dungeons.
Haven't run any of the new raids but that rotation had me up to about 15+k in a recent ICC run.
Good luck to you!

I still can't believe that Corruption is seriously part of destro rotation now. :( That feels so wrong.
