Sigh.  Well, first off, I'm really enjoying the guild my mage is in, (we'll call it XX)   I like the people,  I'm in the primary 10 man raiding group, and we raid ICC two to three nights a week which is just perfect.  We're not progressing ultra-fast, but we are progressing, and having a lot of fun.  Last night we downed the first six bosses of ICC

It does sound ridiculous. The answer seems to be, "You could put me on the raid schedule in YY since I'll tell you the raid schedule of XX." And if he has a problem with that, I dunno. I think I'd just quietly bow out, since you're happy in XX and don't want to join ZZ.

You already said ZZ doesn't have the raiding environment you want, so why stress about it so much? I'd just say that your schedual doesn't work well with hardcore raiding like they want in ZZ.

I mean, part of the calendar thing is inviting people to join a raid or event and then people who want to go accept the request, some that aren't sure slap down tentative and you go from there. I mean, it doesn't have to be so complicated.
