I'm still grinding a toon high enough to raid, but that said, I love raiding on my other server and generally do it most nights (one of the reasons I don't have any high level allies). I hope to be able to run with you soon, though.

While my only DotA character is 51 I'd like to see maybe some instances set up for lower levels. I'm starting to get back into WoW (took a little time off) and could set up a day just for this alt to do instancing or group leveling.

I'm an east coast member so any time after like... 4pm Server time till about 7-8pm Server time would work for me. I need to go away over the next week, but when I come back I was going to re-re-spec my druid (not been on since the druid re-fund) back to Resto and wouldn't mind healing instances

It can be difficult because alts in certain level ranges may be hard to come by (I honestly have no idea what our roster is like in the high 40s/low 50s), but if you are willing to get a few DotA members and then maybe pug the rest, it shouldn't be so difficult ( ... )

Thanks for the advice!

I'll try to set things up once RL settles a bit (and I get back home) and I can find a good day for me not be a hordie lol... and since I've always wanted my Druid to be a healer I'd rather go with people around my level so I can actually do some healing and get use to it, so if I have to PuG a space or two I'm okay with that.

My only problem is of course that i have a young baby, so my raiding time has to be well planned with my husband (or even better a babysitter)

Yeah that is very understandable :) One thing I would like to push toward is planning raids a little earlier (at least 1 week in advance, and always having the roster up at least 3 or 4 days before the raid). That should make it easier for people with busier schedules, or constraints such as needing a babysitter, to schedule around them.

(The only thing that sucks is that often, it can take a long time for some people to check, and some won't know until relatively close to the raid whether they can go at all... so if it is anything like in TBC, a "finalized" raid roster may still have empty slots. Sigh!)

As another mom of a little one, I'm glad to hear this. My husband is really understanding about this stuff as he loves WoW too, so I can generally make things work on short notice, but it's a lot less stressful when it's planned a bit further in advance.

But I can see the other side too, people with variable work schedules and whatnot may not know if they can go until last minute. It's a fine line to walk for sure!

I picked my ideals for raiding days - I prefer not to raid on weekends, but I would most likely be available one weekend day per week. I cannot start raids at 5pm on weekdays (including Friday), though, qq stupid work. For entirely selfish reasons I'm hoping our raids won't be Friday and Saturday again like they were during TBC, because that means automatically missing at least one raid day. :(

I have a couple of ideas with regards to this that I want to discuss with other officers... I want to let the poll run a bit longer, first. But I know that while Fri/Sat is the most popular day, there are also people who have been asking me to arrange weekday raids even though they are able to make the weekend ones too. Will definitely keep you (and the others I mentioned!) in mind as we move forward.

I know the only way to find a raiding schedule that perfectly fits my schedule is to start my own raiding guild, and that's not something I'm interested in doing right now. But, I figure that if I don't let you and the other officers know what my preferences are, you have no way of knowing! :)
