I suppose so. I must have gotten off fairly lightly - some of the others who were with us were badly hurt. The younger Quatre had a fractured shoulder blade... What about you? Are you all right, Atlas?

I'm fine. If I weren't before I woke, I am now--Tonics help me heal fast and not take alot o' damage. 'Course, they weren't workin' at tha time but... yeah.

What are Plasmids and Tonics?

They're scientific creations--potions, if you will--that genetically alter a person to have different sorts of abilities. The Plasmids are generally consciously activated weapons or defensive trap-laying abilities. The Tonics are usually passive aggressive or defensive abilities.

It's not so much as they only work on me as I'm the only one from my world that has them. (Well, Jack has them too--he's the only other person from my world here--but I haven't heard from the boyo in a while...) You'd have ta have the source ta inject them into ya to get the effect from them. The ones I have are already in my blood stream--and they don't wear off as far as I know. The only problem is I can't get any EVE or ADAM ta help boost their strengths. Only got what I came here wit'.
