[ OH HAY, guess who's here to show off his technical expert status! Doctor Bhamba was bored and hacked the rest of your feed. BECAUSE HE CAN. He has no idea what you're talking about though, so he shrugs it off... for now. ]

Well, well, well. Looks like somebody finally decided to make himself available.

You didn't know? What happened to your drug addiction and my woman? Your idiot son said you were fine, but how am I supposed to know that if you can't be bothered to give me a call?

...Son? Oh. Jack.

I'm currently workin' on my end of the deal as we speak. I was unfortunately pulled t'the mirror side; I've only just got back.

See, I've got a man who was askin' around - real timid-like - for someone t'talk to of the female persuasion - and, now, I know this isn't necessarily right'a me t'be bargin' in like this on his personal life, or yours, for that matter, but I think he deserves a break from his constant workin' for a nice night out. You wouldn't have t'do anythin', really; just visit him, tell him I sent you, that's it.

[With the remembered screams of Rapture still ringing in his ears and one arm nearly useless, Jack had decided that his safest bet was to stay put in Sinclair's room with a few prox mines and a grenade or two. Food and EVE came from the closet, there was a bathroom; no reason to leave.

But by the time the mirror spits Sinclair back out, Jack is caught in such a tumble of memories that he's no longer sure where he is, or who the figure standing across from his corner might be. He makes no sound--just one quick step forward and a flick of his left hand, and he sends the chill wind of Winter's Blast out to meet his potential enemy.]

[He shifts through the mirror and it's like he can breathe again. Of course, he's still got his grenade launcher strapped to his back and his specialized machine gun in his hands, which doesn't make him any less suspicious-looking to men who are still jumpy from all those new memories.

Sinclair has about enough time to look over at the blast and fall back before it hits him, freezing him on the spot. For a second nothing inside the ice moves - and then his eyes do, flicking over to Jack.]

[Jack bends at the knees, methodically collecting his wrench from the floor beside him--he has a few more moments, now that the potential threat is frozen solid.

He approaches with it held back, ready to strike but not on the backswing yet. The flicker of recognition in his eyes is dim and faraway, but it saves Sinclair from having a chunk of himself broken off.

It confuses Jack. He steps back, his hand dropping to his side, the wrench dangling loosely in his grip, and he waits for Sinclair to thaw. Not long now.]

[After a moment it melts. He stumbles forward, shaking off the water and discarding the cigarette that is now useless in his holder.]

..Calm down, Jack, it's just me. [Grumbling, he takes out another cigarette.] That was one hell of a welcome home.
