I don't remember having to dig anyone's car out in August, whichever side of the globe I've been on. Anyone feel like we've skipped a season somewhere?

If I'm going to shovel driveways, maybe I should get my own. I'm getting a little sick of being in my thirties and an apartment-rat.

While I'm at it, might cut my hair.

Does this place even have alternative housing?

I only saw two free standing homes. One looks like it's got a hole in the living room wall. The other one's on the opposite side of the forest.

There are more than a couple. Plenty of buildings along the beach, a couple of townhouses, places over the stores. Hadn't thought about a self-build, but it's not like I'd be looking for something with period features.

[ooc: I wanted to check before I replied and I don't seem to be the only one who thought there was some alternative housing - I know houses at the beach have been used before. So hopefully that's okay. ]
