Set...vaguely some time after canon, I guess? Naruto and Sasuke are who-knows-where. Somewhere not in this fic. It's not really important.

AHAHAHA! Awesome. I really liked him trying to come up with some way he had helped her, and not being able to find one she couldn't shoot down.

Kakashi is a great ninja, and an awesome character, but he's a shite teacher.

And the ending was awesome. I love picturing her with Kakashi's smile. (Oddly enough, as we've never actually seen it. XD )

That was the part that inspired the fic, really. >] I wanted him to fall back on the "...I taught you to climb trees?" claim. Which is super-lame. Oh, way to go, Kakashi-sensei. IF YOU DON'T WATCH IT, CAPTAIN von TRAPP IS GONNA BUST IN AND BE ALL, "IS IT POSSIBLE--OR COULD I HAVE JUST IMAGINED IT--HAVE MY CHILDREN BY ANY CHANCE BEEN CLIMBING TREES TODAY?" AND THEN SHIT WILL GO DOWN AND THERE WILL BE SINGING AND DANCING AND NAZIS EVERYWHERE.

We've seen about 1/3 of it! And...sort of 1/2 of it, I guess, but I just meant that crease-eyed BLATANTLY FAKE smile he uses so much of the time. IT'S HIS FUJIFACE. 8D

Oh man. I... I really don't know what to do with the Sound of Music reference. Whoa. Like, whoa. I feel so confused and can't decide whether I should picture the Von Traps of Konoha running away from Akatsuki in a madcap dash through the mountains or the genin 9/Team Gai in matching outfits singing and prancing about the Austrian countryside. I think the fact that he really did sorta abandon her is an important one to remember in the Kakashi/Sakura dynamic. It's a great source for guilt on his part and angst anger or uncertainty about how well a relationship would work between them on hers. XD
