First--Thanks to all who offered congratulations on yesterday's tweet and post. The interwebz is a wonderful place for celebrations with those who understand.

At the end of this latest round of revisions/alterations, the pants are getting there--not quite ready to hit the street, yet, but good enough to model for the family. (HH has the manuscript

Congratulations on your progess. Sounds great. And I'm happy you have the Novel Writing Retreat to look forward to. I expect it's being in front of you helps keep you on task, which is one of the things I like about retreats.

I've got my pattern laid out on the table and the cutting done. Now I'm both working on getting rid of scrappy edges, but there's still enough room that I may change the entire hemline or decide to scrap the sleeves.

I celebrated with a nip of The Speyside and, following the latest episode of Big Bang Theory, an episode of The Riches. With teaching the next day, that was as festive as I could get.
