it's obviously a good move for you, as you have great talent in this area. and yeah, it's only temporary. do well and move forward and, hell, you could wind up doing it for a living anywhere on this earth you want to go. what's not to like about that?
I had no idea you lived on Palmerston. I lived for a year once, 492 I think. One block up from Harbord on the north-west corner of the intersection.
Anyways, good for you for following your heart. School will make the months zoom by, it made 4 years feel like a week for me. And Belleville is a cute little city.
Congratulations dude!monkey_chakraApril 30 2007, 18:17:48 UTC
Way to go! It takes a lot of chutzpah to change everything in pursuit of what you want, and I'm sure that it will work out splendidly for you because fortune favours the bold.
Sadly I won't be able to see you off as I have my own class tonight but I hope your last night in town is wonderful.
As for Belleville, I grew up in Trenton...a stone's throw away. Trenton makes Belleville look utterly Utopian, so thank goodness you didn't end up in the city I commonly refer to as "the big hairy armpit of the universe"!
Besides, a city--no matter the size--is only as small/boring/[insert other adjective here] as you make it. You'll make lots of great friends and THEY will be what you remember most about Belleville.
good luck and happy trails!!rocketboxApril 30 2007, 22:18:09 UTC
belleville is low-key, should be a great place to spend the summer. you may have trouble acclimatizing at first but i am sure you will attract some great people to you, and if not, the city will be here awaiting your weekend returns!
