I think...no, I know...I love you. Your logic is outstandingly sound and it proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Kirk/Spock will never happen. And that Kirk/Bones is meant to be. hehe.

I'm now taking great pleasure in imagining Zachary Quinto in Spock makeup wearing the gold bikini.

Does this mean that C3PO is a red-shirted crewmember? And I can see Pavel Chekov as R2D2, personally...he can navigate through any system to bend it to his will and he's a great co-pilot. And I can totally see that R2's beeps could be interpreted as over-excited "I can do that, I can do that". hehe

And maybe Sarek=Obi Wan...that still not a great fit other than the calm logical thing. Ooooh...or maybe Spock Prime = Obi Wan. Great, now I'm going to be obsessed with drawing more parallels betwixt ST & SW characters. This is fun. ;)

Thank you ever so much. I very rarely go down the path of logic but I think Spock would be proud of me for this one.

Poor C3PO. I think he's Olsen... they both get blown up, take a fall and are far too stuck in their own heads to listen to the advice others give them.

I would totally and completely lol myself silly if someone ever did do a Spock in the iron bikini.

Oooooh, I do like the whole Spock Prime-Obi Wan. Or maybe Qui Gon cause he didn't take himself all that seriously and neither does Spock Prime.

And oh man - Uhura and Lando are both so awesome, aren't they? They fucking rock and they're the unsung heroes of the movies. They totally deserve more credit. It's just sucktacular that it takes the novelizations to really get them the credit they deserve.
