Awesome pics of MSG! I especially love the one where you can see the ceiling. It reminds me of "Song Remains the Same" "Gimmie Shelter" and the album cover of Frank Sinatra "The Main Event - LIVE"

I've seen Bowie and Neil Young at the Garden.

Y'know, that reminds me...i always wondered what the hell a spaceship was doing on Frank's album cover. i suppose its the acoustics?

loved your (excellent as always) photos of madison sq. gardens. my favorite thing there was the fantastic bob dylan tribute concert (1993).
btw i agree that nyc is the center of the known universe. i lived there in the late 60's.

Thank You Sir! it was a lot of fun...and plunked down right in the heart of Manhattan! It's weird how NY has such an instant familiarity from having seen everything so much on TV.

I've never been to Madison Square Garden; it sounded like an awesome concert.
