I love snowy landscapes but I guess it's hard having advantages without inconvenients :)

How right you are...but that makes the nice stuff even better. It's all about contrast. We used to have rainy winters in Mannheim as well...though we would get some really good snows every once in awhile!

Yes I know but it's very rare and the snow doesn't remain a long time.
But I remember last year on new year's eve day, I was wandering in the Christmas market while it was snowing and it was great :)
