Snow and Light...the very next day
Just because i wasn't home for the storm, doesn't mean i can't take pictures of it. Clicking on the photo above will take you to the set of ice and snow pics on flickr...about 12 photos in all. We went out Saturday afternoon to do a little xmas shopping (Matt does, i don't...except for Matt) and drove through our wonderful, neighborhood Tower Grove Park.
We went to the Galleria to find something (and didn't) then went to U-City to Vintage Vinyl to get another present. Remember, just because it's used, doesn't mean it's not "new". Once we finished up, we had lunch at Fitz's Bottling Company and it was Orange Soda day!! A couple of cute sneaker boyz ran the line and it was kinda interesting. i guess they just put the syrup on top of the carbonated water, cap it and THEN mix it!! As little as they mixed it, though, it amazes me that it stays mixed. Oh well, in one end and out the other.
Life goes on out here in the boring western suburbs of Chicago. i work all day then come back to the room and work a good chunk of the evening. All the good shows are going into holiday breaks now that the November Sweeps are over which means it will suuuuuuck. That's what i should be doing. But no one has cars up here it seems. *sigh* Just my luck.
