Mmm, I think you may have hit it on the nail that the CPAP maybe the cause of your sinus problem. You may need to talk to the doctor about this but also maybe a new hose might help also.

are you using a humidifier with the cpap? if so, then yes, it might be that. I used a humidifier and had sinus infections left and right: a caveat, however, I was not using distilled water, nor was I putting new water in every night. so yeah, it was my fault. :)

However, once I stopped using the humidifier the sinus infections went down to almost nil.

My CPAP solved my sinus issues. But I have it humidified, and use distilled water. It may be the change of seasons, too. And of course, flying isn't the best for the schnozolla.
