Sorry about your camera. I dropped mine last week onto tile almost the same way, but it just dented part of the metal lens. The camera still works, but the lens cover doesn't. Am looking at new models and would love to hear what you learn. Also, I think you should consider showing your photos. You have so many amazing pix.
