It was pretty cool. There were some protests, as it turned out, but it was more of a smile-and-wave-and-be-friendly thing to put a face on ourselves and show them that we're not bad...we're their family.

Of course, most everyone else was focused on partying down at Mardi Gras. (i'll do the write-up on that and post the pics this evening...NOT work safe!! ...and you wouldn't want it any other way
