I attended a seminar two years ago called, "The Dark Side of Service" presented by slave Limey who is a slave out of Detroit, and it was about all of the things that we as subs don't want to necessarily talk about - abuse, death, what happens if, etc...
These are all things that we need to deal with as subs. Even dominants have to deal with these things - not only has Master lost his biological son this past year, but he also lost one of his subs suddenly to a heart atack a few years ago - which inspired him to lose a bunch of weight.
It's important to be realistic and to talk about it and to not internalize emotions in this area - and that can be very difficult. And as you said, look to others around you for support. I'm fortunate enough to have fredneckteddy as my approved guardian - something I had specifically asked for as well

That's just it. It's supposed to be the young burying the old, but you never know anymore. You're luckier than most to have such a support system already in place. Most of us will never be as lucky. *hugz*
You're DadBear would be proud at the respect and honor you bestow on me when I'm around you. It shows just how well he trained you and how well you understand and accept what he truly gave to you.....MR
