Cool pics, Woofer! The convection oven sure does sound fun! Then again -- I'm getting used to cooking cookies with one at starbucks, and they are wonderful, so good memories. And yeah -- I hadn't been there for when the theatre was a auditorium/balcony, but these days it is pretty terrible. I agree with you on the Moolah fact -- and at pride weekend went to see Fantastic 4: Rise of Silver Surfer with my bear. He just cuddled up and watched, he really enjoyed it.
And meeting with friends is always a great thing! Glad you got to meet with them and have some well deserved fun. Hugs!

Great pics Woofer! Love the first one. Look like you're thinking about something. Again it's great to see Matt walking around and getting back into the swing of things. As for people talking during the movie, well some people are assholes but as for others like me, people get so caught up in the movie, they can't help it(last one that got everyone in the frenzy was "Fahrenheit 9-11" when people boo & hiss at the screen when they see Bush & Cheney. Someone threw a shoe at the screen at the end of the movie when Bush said that dumb quote(Fool me once, shame on you, Fool me twice, ahh, can't get fool again). It's great you & Matt are the ambassadors of the Gay St. Louis. Showing visitors around the hottest restaurants & hang outs. Again enjoy the pics Woofer. Take care & Big Bear Hugs.

Okay... that is a really cool decoration from the theater. Do you know when it was built? Or am I gonna have to use this machine for something other than looking at hot, sexy men?

Well, i don't think the Esquire is quite in the same era as the Fox. The Fox harkens all the way back to the beginning, one of the original grand theatres. The Esquire was more a post-war/mid-century construct just over the outskirts of the city in one of the more upscale parts of the county. This decoration is from the '70s or '80s. The Arch was built in the late '60s, but another large building, the Eagleton Federal Court building, was built in the '90s. That puts this somewhere in the middle.
