Desk-space...

I...  cannot understand...  How it is that I have this great office...  tons of space...  Literally 70sf of desktop...  (I've measured)...

AND YET I NEVER HAVE SPACE TO WORK!!!

Back in the coop, I have a gorgeous desk... but I think I was only able to use it once or twice before every last drawer was stuffed full and the top was covered in books and papers.

At least I rescuedthe desk lamp.

It's amazing... I have accepted without question that paper is the MOST magnetic material in the universe... Place just one sheet anywhere and watch how quickly it accumulates more just like it!

70' long and 1' wide doesn't give you much space . . . ;)

If you only deal with 8-1/2" x 11" sheets of paper, it's PLENTY!

Of course, my office was designed with blueprints in mind, so a good chunk of it is 4' deep and at a slight angle.

I have a never ending cycle going where I get frustrated and clean up, dump whatever I can in the shredder. The desk is clear for about a day and half and then starts building up again ;)

Yeah... I'm probably due for another mass-shredding...

My problem is of course that there's a fine line between looking tidy, and looking like you don't have anything to work on around here!
