Yeah... *sighs* I'm afraid to get an estimate for the damage. I've got a low deductible, but it doesn't seem worth risking my premium for something so minimal.

Every time you post about life in Chicago, I loathe it more and more. The level of disrespect and lack of common decency is just abhorrent.

Wow... I appreciate your posting this. It is an eye-opener. I hadn't realized that I spent so much time speaking ill of the city which I love, rather than sing it's praises.

YES, there are... Every once in a great while, those times when city living sucks. When, I just need to vent about people and their stupidity. But, what I don't take the time to talk about as much, is every single other moment when I look around the city in wonder and awe at how amazing, colorful, friendly, outgoing, clean, vibrant, etc that this city is, and why I call it home... Why I love it so and couldn't imagine living anywhere else... Please accept my apology for showing you the dark-side of city-living... I'm going to make a conscious effort to begin highlighting the wonders instead.

I have a simple rule regarding right-of-way... When I am a pedestrian, I have the right-of-way. When I'm driving, I have the right-of-way. If anything, I'm sure this is Karma's reward for intentionally swerving closer to people who step out in front of me.
