I agree about the soundtrack. At first listen, I didn't like it much, save for one of the Paramore songs (I Caught Myself). Rob Pattinson, as much as I love him, I didn't love his singing (was he singing English words???). EXCEPT when I saw the film. Everything had context. And that Flightless Bird song was lovely, with the prom and all.

Right?! I'm not a big Paramore fan and although I do appreciate them more now, i'm still not on that bandwagon... yet.

I love Rob's songs though. Hahaha, the unobjective, biased fangirl in me actualy really really loves his songs -- which I surprisingly understand. Yes, they are in English.

But Iron & Wine is love!!! The prom scene!!! I wanna prom again! with Edward preferrably. In that gazebo!!!

Interesting how 'Flightless Bird, American Mouth' was originally intended as a political commentary of sorts. Somehow, it just fit into the Twilight narrative.

I love Rob's singing voice. It's got a bluesy, agonized quality into it.

i need to finish breaking dawn like soon! i can't get over the fact bella is a vamp. haha it's always fun reading ed and bella having to be careful around each other. supermassive black hole was really apt for the baseball scene. oh i received your card. THANKS! :)
