There's another trick, too -- if you win an auction from the "hoi polloi" side, that automatically gets you into the VIP side. I think not everybody knows that!

We never made it out during War for shopping. With all of the overbooking, the schedule didn't work. We bought a few things after War, though. Seems a waste of a bower next year since I won't be staying in it, though. He should come make mine purty. :)
