1) I keep mentioning this because I didn't know we had them here. I have a visitor on my 4th floor balcony. A praying mantis. She appears to be napping upside down under the chair she was climbing in the picture.

Maybe I can get many words in tomorrow. Maybe. At least I think I have a clue what comes next.

Has anyone in your cabin posted any word count at all? Nobody in mine seems even to exist!

I opted out of the cabin thing. There was one person with a word count but they left as well. I understand the whole "you don't get to choose who you bunk with at summer camp" thing but I'd rather have buddies I know to cheer on.

Yeah, the only change I've seen so far is that one person put up a picture. Yay.

I'm moving along. I did get the second thread into the story. I'm not sure it'll support a whole novel, though. I've done some work today, but real life is about to interfere. Maybe later. I've been trying not to stay up all night.

1) She was gone the next morning but I'm keeping an eye out for her.

2) I was away for the weekend. When I walked into this place Sunday, I said "I need to work on the unpacking & organizing." Everything is white/off-white or brown. I need to get some colour in here.

3) ::checks file:: 12.026 so far. Behind where I should be for the end of August deadline but I'm happy to have that many words. ;-)
