So, my vacation time this year has been divided into

We've had fun, inexpensive "staycations", going to a museum each day and a new-to-us restaurant each night (sleeping in our own bed, and calculating the priciness of the restaurant with the heft of our bank account.)

Thanks for the thoughts. I'll have to see what museums we actually have here. (Lived in KW for almost 30 years - yeesh - but have only been to the KW Art & Homer Watson Galleries.)

That's part of the fun - discovering resources in our own backyards! (Of course, if "museums" don't work, there are "galleries" or "bookstores" or "movies" or whatever -- just exploring home in a leisurely and indulgent fashion!)
