Mo Money, Less Problems

So, my boss just called me into her office, and apparently, I’m getting a raise and a bonus, but I’ve only been at this job since October, so it totally doesn’t affect my life at all. With taxes, I’m sure I won’t even notice. But it was still good to hear her say that I'm doing a good job ( Read more... )

Woo! Congrats on the raise and bonus!

I already promised Bush that, if he gave me $600, I'd use it to help the economy. I really need a haircut and new sneakers. (Mine are three years old!) But I'm sure some of it can find its way to charity without breaking my promise.

Thanks! It's pretty small, but I was still happy that my boss said I was doing a good job. :)

Haha, I could use some new clothes, and I'm taking a trip to Vegas for Memorial Day, but I want to encourage OTHER people to donate money to charity.

In theory, I agree with the donating 600 bucks to charity. But at the same time most people that are getting the refund actually do need it.

Most working class and lower-middle-class people need it, yeah, but I think the refund goes to wealthy people, too, doesn't it?

I think it goes to everyone making under $75K. But then I think people making $125K or more get $1200 or something like that. So they could definitely afford it.
