Today I was in Oxford's covered market and noticed that the cake shop had changed its window display.

The chocolate looks so delicious -- like I could reach into the photo and grab some! But my favorite picture is the first, a mouse, I think :)

Ah, all that chocolate would not be at all good for you!

The cake in the first photo is the same as the one in the last three photos; it's a ice-cream sundae, though I know it looks like it has two eyes and an ear - a bit like a robo-bear, I thought! Here is a larger version of the photo so that you can see the detail more clearly (click on the link for a new window with the bigger picture):

The cake makers in the shop are very talented and their work area is right in front of the shop window so that you can see them working.

That cake looks so delicious! I can imagine eating that with a cup of hot tea. I would so much like to have the chocolate, but I know that I cannot. My blood sugar would be in orbit! Is that real fruit around the cake or decorative icing?

I certainly anyone who can turn out desserts to look that pretty. The chocolate looks so good.

Nope, there's nothing as healthy as real fruit in there: it's solid sugar, "fruits" and all.

The chocolate really does look good! Brown is not one of my favourite colours but that heap of chocolate certainly looks attractive.

You're evil. >< But they're fun to look at and a pity to eat.

Mwaaa ha ha ha ha! Of course, I'm evil. Gackt-devil-sama has trained me well!

They are probably more fun to look at than to eat: they are almost solid sugar and food-colouring.

I think the pastel wedding cake is a stack of trinket boxes - hopefully without the nice, crunchy trinkets inside!

Nope, not a dragon! The clue's in the wording:

Y, a black and red Zero cake would be amazing!

You can see more of their stuff on their website:

Yummy and artistic looking cakes! The diet one made me laugh.

The diet one is both attractive and scary. It should be accompanied by a clattering noise (teeth falling out!)
